Servettiens and Langonais delivered a thrilling match at the Stade de Genève.
After 17 minutes, Langon had already scored two tries, without converting them. Four penalties scored by Lucas Chouvet allowed Servette to keep the score close.
The Grenat scored their first (converted) try in the 32nd minute, and a new penalty allowed them to go back to the locker room leading 22 to 13.
A score dug in first minute of the second half, after a new converted try for Servette (29 to 13). But the Langonais did not give up and scored another 14 points in Geneva. Two last Grenat penalties gave them the victory with a score of 35 to 27. The first leg is for Servette, which is now 8 points ahead of its opponent.
The next step is on Sunday May 28th in Langon, for a decisive second leg to access National 2.
